Joost is an independent drummer, composer and educator based in London, UK.

He is a member of the international music collective Kefaya.

​

He is the drummer for Abstract Orchestra, The Sorcerers, Shatner's Bassoon, XOA,

Tipping Point, Ed Begley and is a regular collaborator with Leeds label ATA Records.

He is a musical collaborator with dance organisation International Arts Collective.

​

Joost is currently a Senior Lecturer in Popular Music (drums) at Leeds Conservatoire.
